re: You Don't Like So You Ignore It

"Your mindset is obvious and your attempts to cover it up pathetic."

Oh, please share more of your profound insights into my mindset, Mark. The depth of your wit is, well, just downright spooky.

As for what the 'Polls' in Iraq say, I think anyone with two brain cells to synapse together can see that they don't clearly support your position. I don't point to the 'Polls' as support for my position, but you seem to think they validate yours, so what would be the one-word description for trying to use those polls to justify your stance and say I'm wrong at the same time?

If you guessed 'Dumb', you just might be right.

Besides which, you don't have a flying clue as to what I think, as demonstrated by this rhetorical garbage:

"what you want to be true (Iraq is an abject failure) is in fact not."

Another version of "If your not with us, youre a traitor". A really stupid childish way of looking at the world.

You actually seem to think that because I disagree with whats been done in Iraq, how its been done, and most importantly disagree with you, that I am some facile two-dimensional, dishonest, nefarious, nay-bob gleefully out for the downfall of America and the bloody death of her soldiers. Disgusting.

God. Grow up.

A little hint to the dense here: Nobody wants Iraq to be a failure, but it is what it is. And as for who has been consistently closer to reality on 'what it is' is plain, just dig back through old posts dating back to 2002. Trying to paint it as a glorious success and ignore all the mistakes made from 2 years ago on is exactly what this political authority is doing, is exactly what their supporters are doing (that would be you, Mark, in case its a bit hard to discern), and will only lead to more problems. Its about facing reality before reality knocks our block off.

Act like an adult and learn how to disagree with people honestly. In fact, just get past the emotional age of 13, that should be good enough.

In fact, go do this to someone else. Pick someone else to get in an emotional tiff with every week. I'm not picking up your cognitive garbage anymore. Go pretend to have the 'Last Word' and then come back and start another spat next week.

What are you getting out of this?
