Cows
Interesting. Never been around Charolais, though I know they are big and cows have some limited capacity to kick backwards.
And you're right. The interest they show is generally because of an association with goodies.
I have to admit, the cows I had were basically pets. Didn't start out that way, but sort of evolved. I'm certain more range-oriented and less people-oriented animals react differently.
And bulls are a different story, though I don't know first-hand of anyone being abused by one. Threatened, but not hurt.
