Cows

There was one mine site were the cows would come by and lick the truck. For salt, apparently, but yuck!

Got challenged by a bull while driving a big white Ford Bronco. Stood its ground in the middle of a narrow dirt road. I guess the deer skull tied to the grill of our truck didn't help. Honked, flashed the lights, nothing. Just moved slow and steady and he slowly gave way. He did paw the ground a couple of times, and I was imagining how I'd tell the boss how the grill got smashed!

Then there was the cow that had been eating cactus...hundreds of needles sticking out of its face and it didn't seem to care.

One cow, no big deal. Two, okay. It's when I get around a whole bunch of them that I get uneasy. Bulls I give a very wide area.
