Yeah. As long as someone else does it.

Like Flipper on Hannity, a "vegetarian" who doesn't mind eating chicken once in a while, as long as she didn't kill it.

This is why so many Democrats can rail against every aspect of the war in Iraq, but claim that it's a wonderful thing that Saddam is out of power. That the elections in Iraq are the best thing to happen to the Iraqis in decades, but that Bush's decision to throw Saddam out with military force was the stupidest thing anyone has ever done.

How the hell do you make a brain work like this?

I'm really beginning to get the idea that many liberals, and much of the Democratic Party, is actually incapable of understanding what's involved in protecting innocent people from the monsters in this world. It's obvious that the idea of war itself is even alien to many of them.

I'm still reading stuff on some boards about how we should have handled Afghanistan as a police action instead of a military attack. What? Knock on the door of the mountain fortresses with a warrant? Read them their rights? "Come out with your hands up?"

The Taliban used to skin people's heads and leave them as warnings. The people we are fighting in Iraq think along the same lines.

Again, thank God this kind of thinking isn't in charge of defending us right now.
