Encyclopedia Astronautica is a wonderful resource. If you go to the main page and select "G" on the top menu line (the last word in that line is Search), you'll find a host of Gemini articles, including the military version, the "Big Gemini", and even a proposal for a lunar Gemini. There are also articles on every Gemini mission. Good stuff.
The model was pretty small, just a few inches long. Still, it showed three fairly long but narrow landing gear doors (one for the nose skid and two for the main skids). The doors would open to one side and the skids would deploy (probably spring loaded) for landing. It would've been a simple and lightweight system. I wonder if those bays were actually built into any of the Gemini capsules? Perhaps not since they were essentially handmade. There probably would've had to be similar doors to house the rear suspension lines for the Rogallo wing, too. If you look at the picture that REB provided, those rear lines had to come out of somewhere, perhaps that slot along the top between the windows.
