This woman accused a man of rape. She was on the witness stand.
Lawyer: You say that the defendant raped you?
Witness: Yes, indeed.
Lawyer: And you did not report it. Why?
Witness: Well, I liked him, and didn't want to get him into trouble.
Lawyer: How many times did you say that the defendent raped you?
Witness: At least one hundred times.
Lawyer: Over how long a period did the rapes occur?
Witness: Over a two year period.
Why did you not try to avoid the defendant to prevent him from raping you again?
Because I liked going out with him. I just didn't like the fact that he raped me on every date.
Lawyer: And what made you decide, after such a long time to charge him with rape?
Witness: Because he refused to marry me.
Judge: Case dismissed!
