My first car was an unrestored real 1911 Rambler. My first driving car was a 1968 Rambler wagon I got my friends dad to sell me for $50 instead of junking it. We did a few years later. I can't imagine having a 1964 one still operational. Still even a near junker carries some fond memories as a first car. The freedom of personal transportation, doing donuts in a parking lot to learn how to regain control, ending up with rear wheels 4 feet off the ground, sneaking friend sinto drive in movies, first date, first party in the field etc.
