There's no money in restoring old cars
Restoring old cars is something I do for the simple pleasure of working with interesting machinery (there's no money in it). An amazing amount of cleverness has gone into designing automobiles. One of the main reasons why I like to visit auto wrecking yards is to look at all the interesting engineering. On occasion I'll even find a part that I can put in one of my cars.
