I started making a list of the holes in that nutball theory, but it got too damn long.

There were hijackers on the planes. They killed passengers and pilote. There were phone calls to the ground describing what they were doing. The hijackers took flight training, for God's sake.

Are we to assume these hijackers were really just taking the planes to Las Vegas for some partying before the evil Jews That Control Everything took command of the aircraft with their Secret Magic Rays and flew the poor vacationing Arabs into buildings?

I remember another nutball who was convinced that the Twin Towers had been taken out by demolition charges. He obviously knew nothing of that method, nothing of the effort required, nothing about the types of explosives, and in fact, probably used a good two-thirds of his brain power just to keep his sphincters closed.

I remember watching Terminator 3, where the evil robot took control of the engine computers in present-day police cars, and was able to drive them around that way. The complete lack of servo connections to the steering and other systems mattered not a lick.

Do you ever actually THINK about this stuff?

Every time I start to mellow out about the right to vote, I come across something else that makes me want to put idiot-detection devices in polling booths. Maybe it would paint, instead of just their fingers, their entire bodies purple. A signal to all that "Here Walks Gullibility Incarnate. Sell him glacier insurance!"
