It is not what it was
I will not try to lay blame but those primarily responsible know who they are. I sometimes wonder if they do it for spite, ("watch me I'll fuck up this forum"). Can they possibly think they are contributing anything of value?
I think the day that Dan Spires signed off for the last time was a turning point. Dan was one of the founders and was a moderate, never insulting voice. He was in many ways the soul of this community.
I still come here out of habit and curiousity but it is a different, colder place.
