Fundamentally, is that always right?
I can respect though disagree with libertarian-hawkish Republicans like Tom, but I think you guys deeply, deeply underestimate the strength, anger, and unlimited demands of teh religious right.
I have to chuckle at "religious right" after viewing your link. While two-thirds of Republicans polled believe God created humans in their present form, just over half the Democrats and Independents also think the same thing! Not that much of a difference in my mind, but what exactly is the definition of a fundamentalist Christian? Surely not just one that votes Republican.
