I'd be hesitant about celebrating too much.
For members of a political party to start expressing differences amongst themselves on key issues (as opposed to organized, lock-step and disciplined partisan knee-jerk sabotage and obstruction to whatever the opposition does or wants)is a sign of maturity, responsibility, and a recognition of reality.
This issue, and the split in both parties on how to deal with the Snowdon affaire, tells us the grip on the GOP by the TParty may be starting to loosen. After all, wasn't it Graham who first brought up how the Right was "running out of angry old white guys"?
