Once you back out the histrionics like stretching four percentage points into a visual scale ranging from screaming yellow bonkers to fire engine red, what's left is four percentage points difference, along the distinct south-to-north axis I observed. The LaMissAla Gap in the southern tier breaks the pattern, but then those states are pretty vocally not welcoming to Hispanics, legal or not.
Which brings me to another problem that's been bothering me about both versions of the map: "Source: Pew Hispanic Center"
You do know that not all undocumented aliens are Hispanic, right? The blunt propaganda coupled with a focus on one ethnic group tells a pretty ugly story.
