Hi All
Using physical modelling from some Europeans, and putting Gliese 876d at 7.5 Earth masses, here's some rough figures for the new planet...
silicate:iron...
Radius = 11,293 km (1.77 Earth)
rho ~ 7.46
g ~ 2.4 gee
water/ice:silicates (50/50)...
Radius = 13,735 km (2.15 Earth)
rho ~ 4.14
g ~ 1.62 gee
...would be nice to know where the media are getting the 200 - 400 degree surface temperature from.
