weekend trips to NZ
Clearly step 1 is the simple 100Km flights but I've said before that Branson et. al. have their sights set on eventually entering the market for ~ 1 hour trips US to Europe, Japan & Australia. Yes, much higher, IRBM style delta V and re-entry loads. But ballistic glide is a more likely future than SST which still would take several hours. You could do business on a day trip to Japan or London, or make weekend vacation trips to Australia/NZ or SE Asia much more accessable for the beautiful people. The very wealthy (500,000 families in US worth OVER $10 Million) could well afford high 6 figure convenience flights to anywhere on the globe in ~ 1 hour.
