Project those numbers out for the 2010 census and you not only see a clear pattern, but the coming collapse. Business owners, upper and middle class folks are fleeing the state by the bushel and are being displaced by illegals (and a few legals) from south of the border.
That just doesn't bode well at all. Tax base collapses, good jobs disappear and everyone bails to the hot places (Arizona, Nevada)or the wet places. (Oregon,WA)
It reminds me of the Star Trek episode where mister ATOZ sends folks back into the past before the Sun goes nova.
Californians can stay and watch it all get worse and worse or they can flee to a better place - a "new world" and start again.
Give it enough time (say 2020) and there'll be more "REAL" and "legal" Californians in these other states than in CA!!!
