Funny EP can't even supply the address. Challenge a guy to a fight at a specific place but don't give directions. What's that tell you? The menu that ends in 2003 that's easily found on Google is the one I used to use. I searched on CCNet 2004/2005 and asteroid and still couldn't find a current site. I did find a recent message forwarded to another board using the address "cambridge-conference_at_livjm.ac.uk" so I think the E-mail list is still active if less public. I'm guessing you replace the _at_with @ to use it. The old contact address was b.j.peiser@livjm.ac.uk.
I'm guessing the University of Georgia association was lost either due to the loss of a contact (Bob Kobres) or Peiser's growing tendency to rant against human cause dglobal warming offending a large number of serious scientists on the list. Many noted their disapproval of him blending that attitude into CCNet. I personally lost all respect for a guy who could believe firmly in an impact on flimsy historical data yet hand wave away all kinds of technical data on global warming. You can search the annual menus at the CCNet Main Menu you found to see how participation in that list deteriorated.
Regards,
Mark
