Why can't the different class be planets also?
Why limit "planethood" to two classes (terrestrial and jovian)? A third tier of planets for the outer solar system is logical as long as they are a certain size (say diameter of 1000 km) and orbit the sun (i.e., not a moon of another planet).
My vote is Yes. Xena isn't as bad as Santa, the name of another newly discovered Kuiper belt "planet."
