There's only one guy here that has labeled the left as butt monkeys and Socialists. At least 'Socialist' can be applied without negative connotation. The same can't be said of the insults you and Robert throw around like dogs digging in a garbage heap. You (pl) attempt to associate us with a murderous and twisted regime, and those who propagated a loathsome and vile treatment of old world natives.
The reason you're not seeing Obama's changes (other than you just don't look for them) is because the big ones haven't been enacted yet. You'll start to notice them (maybe) next year. Look for changes in healthcare.
But you'll be hard pressed to find someone who knows what effect the changes will have.
Next year new rules for Co2 emissions from Coal fire power plants come down from the EPA. They proclaim that if they simply mandate target levels, the industry will magically adapt and comply. I picture a cartoon of Obama in a dark room holding the powercord to a table lamp. The caption would read "See! problem solved".
I think everyone who reads this forum clearly sees which side consistently demonstrates true hatred and contempt for the other. And it ain't ours.
PS I thought it was cool as hell that America elected a black president.
