Well, frankly Frank, with gas prices at three bucks a gallon, poverty rates skyrocketing, U.S. military deaths in Iraq soon to exceed 2,000, Iran and North Korea making nuclear weapons with impunity, Osama Bin Laden still on the loose, Congress spinning its wheels on one brain dead woman in Florida, a record federal deficit, more hurricanes on the way and this utter failure on the part of the federal government, I'd say the American people are ready for a sharp change in direction and a return to competent government - one built upon deeds and not bravado without substance.
As for Mr. Bush, after pouring billions of dollars into his brand spanking new Homeland Security department and achieving the most pitiful of results, I'd say his reputationa and legacy is toast.
