Impossible is it ?

The other day I happened to tune the TV to a station that had a program on perpetual motion machines.

Of course, all engineers and scientists will say that such a device is impossible to construct. It may be true that such a device can never accomplish the dream of getting useful power out of a machine that feeds its operating power back on itself to keep itself going.
But still many people try to do that.

There were two inventors, out of four, that caught my attention, both had constructed devices that they claimed will run forever, or at least until the wear on the machine would make it stop, both of the machines were shown while in operation.
One was made by a person in France, it was a huge Ferris wheel type structure. It seemed that it started operating very slowly from a standstill position, without any power input.

The other was a device that is difficult to explain, it was operating in a locked room, and was made by an inventor in Norway. The device had a circular raceway on which there moved, what looked like a large metal ball, perhaps from a very large ball bearing.
As the ball moved, the circular raceway tilted enough to keep the ball rolling in circles.
The raceway's tilting was caused by three pendulums that were coupled to the raceway, the pendulum swings were powered by the passing metal ball.

Could it be that by using the effects of mechanical resonance and mechanical advantage, that 100 percent efficiency in the system can be achieved?

In any case, it is interesting that engineers and scientists say that humans can not make a machine that will move in perpetuity, and at the same time they say that every particle, such as the electrons, protons, and neutrons have and will continue to move forever.

If motion can not be perpetual, then the motion of the universe will come to an end in some far distant future.
If the motion of the universe can come to an end, then the motion also had to have a beginning.
