I disagree with you. Bush may ACT like he cares, but he's always had his own agenda. I can't believe you bought the line "We're rooting out Al Queda over there, so they won't hurt us over here".
Those billions spent on bombing the crap out of Iraq (and making many MORE terrorists and generations of them) would have been better invested here at home redesigning the FBI and CIA and getting them to co-operate. Mandated to co-operate. None of this crap that's going on now. And the billion dollar boondoggle "Homeland Security" is just another useless beauracratic hole he is throwing money down.
We should shored up our borders and our ports, and put the rest in education and medical research. Yeah, but how profitable is that, you ask.
