Yeah, it actually sounds like it works a bit like I suspected, but even more simple and efficient. Taking the minimum from every scan is smart.

Robert is right about the proxies as a defense. But I am always a little hesitant about using a proxy as a defense against either Big Brother or Bad People- as either could be running the proxy.
