That was one figure I saw. I read that somewhere. I think something Carl Sagan wrote or maybe an OMNI or Astronomy Magazine article. Most other studies put the Earth being uninhabitable due to the Sun’s warming in a million or so years.
Who knows what kind of knowledge and technology our descendents will have in a million years or even 10,000 years.
