Light shone upon "dark matter"?

Could it be this simple? Einstein over both MACHO and WIMP?

Dark matter has been hypothesized as a requirement to make observed galactic structures fit modeled predictions. If this work is accurate, it could relegate the concept of dark matter to the garbage can of physics, where concepts like the aether reside.
