Still on the knife edge....
I read this paper which points out a possible unphysical aspect of the galactic metric used by Cooperstock and Tieu. Still though, it opens the door to more tangible explanations of this problem and I'm sure research in this vein will be quite "fasionable" for some time till it's substiantiated or refuted.
