You're right al...

It also remains to be seen if they consulted general relativity to make this prediction. I know in many cases, the Newtonian approximation is considered "good enough".

R.L. - or someone else: Could you check your astrophysics or GR sources (MTW) to see if this prediction about galactic rotation was based on GR or ND. I'll sniff around abit also...
