Things are tough in Iraq right now, but there is some basis for a better future. It appears their Constitution was approved. More elections will be held this December. The Sunnis seem to be coming to the realization that the "good old days" of them exercising minority control are over. If they see themselves as having a stake in the new government, then it isn't unreasonable to expect a decline in violence in the months to come. However, if the US pulls out prematurely, what do you think will happen in Iraq? Do you think it'll all be sweatness and muffins or will it result in civil war (the all time winning oxymoron)?
Just like the Left didn't care how many Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians died after we pulled out of SE Asia back in 1975. All that matters to the Left is that they achieve their political goals, screw everyone else.
