Aerial attacks
I think you know as well as I do what I meant by aerial bombardment. It doesn't mean nailing one building from the air.
Even in these operations, attempts are made to minimize civilian casualties. The numbers, as always, depend on whether you're talking to the military and their sources, or the anonymous witnesses quoted by the press.
The CENTCOM release on the October 17th attack is here. It differs somewhat from the BBC account. I suppose it depends on whether you believe CENTCOM, or anonymous Iraqis wandering up and talking to reporters.
When civilians or others are involved in an attack, it usually shows up in the CENTCOM release. This is one example.
