The Emperor's New Clothes, Republican version
It's funny Tom, you want to believe Joe Wilson is lying, yet we know for certain that there were no WMDs in Iraq after Bush claimed they were there. SOmehow you find it in your hyprocritical mind to excuse the President of this, but accuse the individual that exposed him of lying.
I'd like to hear from you on that one too, Tom. Wilson was proven right, yet you insist he was lying; while the Bush Regime was proven wrong, and you declare that they're the victims.
I think the story of the Emperor's New Clothes would have turned out very differently if you'd written it, with the boy drawn and quartered for telling the truth, and the Emperor living out his delusions happily ever after. That's the happy ending, Republican style.
