Good point...

Hi Sawyer

The return on investment point makes it pretty clear that robots are to be preferred for maintenance of large in-space structures like solar powersats and comsats - it's not safe or economical to send humans to service such assets. And when we get to even nastier environments that will remain so - like scoop-mining the gas-giants, building solar collectors inside Mercury's orbit etc. Humans will need to be near-by but at the coal-face is a ridiculous design burden.
