These are not attacks by Muslims against Christians.
These are riots by a disenfranchised underclass, very similar to the race problems the US has had.
In France, when one gets a job, no matter how menial, they get things like bus passes, lunches, health care, etc. There is, in effect, a very high minimum wage. It's difficult for many people to enter "the system".
And they become disaffected and riot.
The US has coped with that situation in an ingenious manner - we have 3 million folks in prison, a large percentage of them black males. Without debating on whether they should be there, imprisoning them results in both creating a very, very large disenfranchised underclass and controlling them.
To try to make the French riots into a religious affair demonstrates inherent prejudice and ignorance.
