Keep up Tom...

French Revolution News

It's gone way past anger over two kids electrocutions. As can be expected...we're talking "holy war" here Tom. It's already started:

the clear need is to use the shock to find better ways to assimilate the growing Muslim population. Not just in France but across Europe. To help avert a clash of civilizations that is one of the greatest threats of the 21st century.

And there's an added, frightening flavor: shouts from some of "it's Baghdad" and calls for "jihad," or holy war. Of Europe's 12 million Muslims, almost half live in France.

That's not good news.

Some relatives who have a place in the South of France have sent notice they're evacuating because of the real fear of escalation. Some fear the suicide bomb attacks in population centers and symbolic landmarks are next. Apparently there are large Muslim housing units serving as housing for domestics just outside many well off regions.

This is vastly different than the LA riots because the fanaticism is much higher than mere racial tensions. After the looters in the bad neighborhoods had hit the stores, and carried away all the TV sets, the party was pretty much over.

You can bet your booties this will attract the Al Qaeda types like flies to horsesweat. They will incite, recruit and provide armaments. They probably figure they will not get another chance like this which drops in their laps and may forever handicap Europe so that they live in terror of the millions of Muslims who never assimilate but merely demand accomodation of their fanatical religious beliefs and customs.

I know, because that's what I would do were our positions reversed. You would throw Europe into a tailspin keeping up with rebellions...and you would use the kids to garner whats left of the left's compassion and slow a military response. Italy, Germany, Europe, Netherlands, Sweden...one would organize similar revolts and unite against a common enemy...which in this case would be the European governments you want to strongarm.

I hope I'm wrong. But I have observed that the lowest common denominator is often reached quite easily.
