re: Whining?
Nothing is too premature to think about, especially when it comes to space exploration. We should start thinking about how to reach other galaxies now, for the longer we work on the problem, the sooner we will finally figure out how to do it.
Same goes for time travel, FTL drives, cosmic wormholes, matter transporters, quantum computing, fusion power, and the like.
All the Universe, or Nothing.
