99 percent of the universe is invisible. There's something big going on out there and we're not privy to it. On the other hand, science has closed so many doors already, I'm almost afraid to find out what dark matter is. But I can be hopeful:
- a new symmetry breaking, yielding particles that don't interact electromagnetically, and in fact might have their own force propagating particles. New physics that blows the lid off the limitations we live with now. Dark matter propulsion. Non-baryonic reaction drives (reactionless?). New ways to generate energy with exotic dark isotopes, dark fusion, and dark thermite reactions. Dark life.
- parallel universes, bound to ours gravitationally, but otherwise providing a hierarchy of new frontiers in a different spacetime volume. Maybe some will be more navigable, and some downright transcendent. We discover who or what is above us on the food chain.
I love speculation. It's more fun than real life.
