I wasn't accusing Clinton of anything. I was accusing Democrats of rank hypocrisy. While Clinton was sending bombers into war, they never once brought up the subject of his avoidance of military service, or stated that he therefore had no moral right to deploy troops.
That premise is ridiculous in the first place. Many wartime presidents had no personal history of military service. In fact, civilian control of the military is kind of the entire point of our country, isn't it?
But if you want to move into "Starship Troopers" territory, there are probably a lot of veterans who would agree.
