I don't have any idea whether Kerry or Gore ever referred to agents of this Administration as "storm troopers" (I'm telling ya, only Conservatives take Gore seriously enough to listen to his speeches, let alone worry about his prospects in '08), but your use of the epithet reminded me of a time when the shoe was on the other foot, and prominent Conservatives were labelling the current Administration "jack-booted thugs". My, how times have changed...nobody back then on the Liberal side was calling for new sedition laws so we could round up those traitors undermining Authority. 'Course, that was because we could see the irony of it, not to mention the foolishness of validating the slur. That can't be said of the Bush Administration, can it?
As for the bulk of your post, well, I get that you don't like Al Gore, gb. Oh well. You're entitled to your opinion.
