Gore Decries Treatment of Arabs Post 9-11

"Gore told the largely Saudi audience, many of them educated at U.S. universities, that Arabs in the United States had been "indiscriminately rounded up, often on minor charges of overstaying a visa or not having a green card in proper order, and held in conditions that were just unforgivable."

"Gore told the largely Saudi audience, many of them educated at U.S. universities, that Arabs in the United States had been "indiscriminately rounded up, often on minor charges of overstaying a visa or not having a green card in proper order, and held in conditions that were just unforgivable."
"Unfortunately there have been terrible abuses and it's wrong," Gore said. "I do want you to know that it does not represent the desires or wishes or feelings of the majority of the citizens of my country."
Malkin:
"Let's cut through Gore's disgraceful slander and pander. The immediate post-9/11 detention of illegal aliens from suspect countries netted 762 aliens -- nearly all of them here illegally -- who were held while being investigated for possible ties to terrorism...."
And this which I thought amusing:
John Gibson's Grotesque Message Of Hate To Al Gore
John Gibson's behavior today on Big Story was astonishing. His cruel and malicious commentary on Al Gore was a disgrace not only to himself but to this country as well. Gibson didn't like the comments made by Gore this weekend at the Jiddah Economic Forum, which is fine. He's certainly entitled to a critical analysis of Gore's speech. However, Gibson went far, far beyond critical analysis into a range of rhetoric that goes beyond reason.

Here is a transcript of Gibson's My Word commentary on Gore. The opening visual imagery was especially distasteful.
"It must kill Al Gore that he's not President. It must be a terrible burning tumor in his gut eating at him every day of his life."
Then after Gibson called Gore a liar , he started taunting him about the Presidency. His tone had the level of ridicule reached when bullies are surrounded by their support system.
"These statements indicate every so often Al Gore just can't help playing president, but even pretend presidents have to face tough questions."
The closing statement was the hardest to watch because Gibson was sneering and snarling.
President Gore needs a reality check. As much as he thinks he ought to have been President 43, and as unfair as he thinks the counting was which denied him the office he thought was his from birth, the fact is he just isn't President Gore.
He's just a presidential wannabe. Never was and never will be. And it's killing him. And it's why every so often he says these crazy things.
Pity Al Gore. It's the fever that won't pass.
comment: As always the administration needs all the enemies they can find to deflect attention from the truith. However, there seems to be some fear that Al Gore might be planning to run in 2008. The results of a Fox News Poll shows some favorable results for Gore. His name is buried in the section talking about the fantasy candidates like Oprah. Al Gore got 34% which is too high to ignore.

Oh and this is cute bit:
"Gore has gone on his knees to other gods before, from Buddhist monks to the mullahs of Iran. Nobody should be surprised to see him on his knees in Saudi Arabia, putting his lips at the service of the propaganda of Islamist terrorists. But how can any sane American ever believe or support such an oil-stained, prostituted politician who apparently hates his country?"

BUT what I was looking for was a transcript of speech. Which I didn't find- though there plenty hits to look at and I only looked a fraction of the:
Jiddah Economic Forum + Gore search of Google : http://www.google.com/search?q=Jiddah+Economic+Forum+%2B+Gore&hl=en&lr=&start=10&sa=N
Maybe Tom can dig it up- I'm simply not *that* interested in anything Gore say as a general rule- so whatever.
And I was also looking for this suppose meme of making it unlawful for Gore and other idiots from committing treason- I didn't find anyone other that one by Benjamin Shapiro.
I think most of fuss about Gore's speech was lack attention by MSM and the fact Gore is slimeball. For me it proves that Al Gore is unfit for Commander in Chief [as if there was a need for further proof].
