Hillary could beat McCain like a rented Mule.
McCain has taken more inconsistantly nuanced positions that John Kerry.
Of course if he were to swing far right and suddenly adopt a balanced budget or bust position, he would be more palletable to the far right.
Bush's failure to adopt anything close to fiscal responsibility has opend a huge window of opportunity for McCain.
But I don't expect him to play his cards right...I have no faith in McCain's ability to run a "Republican campaign".
He is too in touch with the news media and their pop-cultural bias.
He is running, so I may be proved wrong.
