Rush broke the law, He got off easy because he is rich and powerful... he lectured about how those that break drug laws should have the book thrown at them. When he broke the law he weaseled his way out. He even had the aclu trying to help him cover up his crime.

That said, its no surprise that you defend him... your ethics have always been rather fluid...
