While you are certainly articulate, your thinking processes show that you are not only no engineer, but probably never could be one.
You're happiest in that world where truth is what everybody sat down this morning and agreed was true today, unencumbered, as engineers are, by shelves of thick books containing numbers and equations showing truth arrived at by generations who went before me. Truth that will kill you if you ignore it.
No pressure tank or valve assembly ever left my drawing board with documentation reading, "I feel GOOD about this, and so do five other people who looked at how nicely I drew it. Go with it."
To patiently point out what you seem to have already forgotten, the issue here is not the murder of academics, which seems well-documented, but the insane idea that Israeli secret agents have been doing this for some unknown reason, when the motivations of known insurgent and terror movements are much more obvious.
