I opposed this war, before the war, because the President was lying about WMD's, Saddam Hussein, and why he truly wanted to invade a defenseless country. Terrorism is a criminal act by individuals, and when individuals create a terrorist act it does not warrant war against a country.

The solution is not sending our children to slaughter, or having our children slaughter other civilians. Our solution is getting back into integrity. Our solution is to stop overthrowing other governments, stop taking other countries resources, allow equal trade, fair compensation, use our military budget for our health care and education, the list goes on...

The current administration and many tenured politicians should resign. Voting should be auditable and reconciled with a paper trail. Any individual wanting to run in a political campaign should be given an equal opportunity in the media and any other forum required to educate the public about all the candidates. This is a simple beginning, but one that has more rational than starting up the military draft again.

War is not the answer, never has been never will. My children have been taught killing is wrong-especially war! They resolve conflict through discussion or walking away. I refuse to send my children to slaughter or have them live through a conflict only to have years of suffering because of the depleted uranium used in today's weaponry. Adults (Politicians) need to learn PEACEful resolution as the children have.

This administration has committed war crimes through totally disregarding key U.S. signatory points to the Geneva Convention-preemptive wars and torture for two. Lying to the American people to go to war, is a betrayal to the American people and the constitution - Treason. It is clear this administration and others related to it,have no concern for the people, the future generations or the planet. Given that adults controlling all the high offices in this Country have created this hanus conflict, it should be those adults that personally take responsibility to put themselves out there in the line of fire - not the children.
