I smelled Rangel before I even clicked on the link. I first noticed Rangel start advocating this right after 9-11 while watching Newshour on PBS. He was put on side by side with another senator I can't remember who tore the guy apart. Rangel's reasoning was so badly flummoxed, that the best motive he could provide was that a draft would be good for the youth of our country. Rangel is nothing short of an ass IMO. Why does he keep wasting time putting forth a bill that only he endorses. His bill is also something quite odd. It's like he writes it so extreme to ensure nobody could possibly take it seriously. What are his real motives? I haven't been able to figure the guy out.
