RL has s*it on so many people here, it seems logical to assume that you are right in the evaluation of his stature here.
Lindy; a "village idiot" you are not. When it comes to your participation here, I agree with McFly, since I could not say it any better, I will let his words pass on my sentiments.

Lindy, you are bright and inquisitive and open to new ideas. I value your participation here because through you I view things from a new angle, or that I never would have seen at all

I Hope that he does not mind.
