Thanks McFly. I appreciate the comments.

My research puts me in touch with different kinds of leading edge doctors and scientists who are brilliant AND polite at the same time. They don't have ego hang-ups and they don't have to attack others verbally to make themselves feel better.
I often wonder why I continue to post here because my pursuits are varied and I 've often felt it's high time to leave this place in my dust.
But I'd miss most of you, even the ones I disagree with. This community is REAL to me in that I can take it with me everywhere I go.

I recently read a good article by Alfred J. Webre on new technologies on another site and remember when RL was allowed to run him off this board with his insults, and no-one stepped in to stop him. As I've mentioned before, this results in many good posters and would-be posters from staying in this on-line community simply because THEIR ideas aren't "accepted" by "Lord of the Laser". Not only are some of his posts annoying, but they carry more weight because he IS a Moderator

And for some reason, this pitbull is allowed to roam all the boards with his vicious attacks, peeing on those he deems lower than himself, and attacking those who espouse ideas and concepts he can't quite grasp..
