Hopefully my children won't be reading this forum but I also have some experience with hallucinagens back in the 60's and 70's. I never had a fullblown flashback but certainly saw "trails" long after the trip, sometimes up to a month. For the uninitiated, trails are the phenomena where, let's say you move your arm rapidly in a sweeping motion. You get to see this visual trail of arms lagging behind eventually catching up with your arm. It's great fun and you'd often find tripping people waving their arms around in the air enjoying the effect.
I particularly found it enjoyable once playing a tournament level game of racquetball against an opponent that normally took me to task. With the heightened brain processing speed and the trails following the ball around, it was much easier to see the angles and anticipate the path it would take. Not only did I blow this guy away in the game but broke 3 racquetballs in one game.
