Good at what he did before, but given the GM job on a good old boys network, and everything went to hell. I stayed on because of my position and the pay but NEVER gave him an inch. For one, I had more experience than he, was older, and was doing an outstanding job. We had MANY run-ins. He refused to talk to me the first year.

Until I called the Big Dogs in for his review and then he went around kissing my backside for the next two years. When he put me in a corner with his fascist cruel leanings (he's Austrian) before the most important week of the year, I balked and quit. He was left hanging and now, with sales down and a subsequent lawsuit, is soon going to get a good look at his modus operandi.

I'll never forget as I went in to pick up my last paycheck, he asked how I could desert him at such an important time to which I brought up the fact he never really appreciated me in the first place, and now he'd have to start all over again. I loved to see the expression of helplessness on his face (he's a homosexual....can I say that?), when I asked him to do me one last favor and he declined, I said "Of course you can do it....you're the GM!"
To which he replied "You know what Lindy, that's the first time in 3 years you've ever acknowledged that". What a crowning moment. Such drama. Some one could use it for a script!

I wonder how his next review will go.)
