Good to know you're in a position to evaluate the validity of social science research from a press release, Tom. I have a whole pile of books and journal articles I need to catch up on, but if you save me the time of reading them by issuing sweeping dismissals on the ones you don't like I'll happily buy you a beer.
I haven't read Johnson's book either, but it does get a good review from Steve Rosen at Harvard, who is both a first rate social scientist as well as a Republican and supporter of the Iraq war, which suggests Johnson's previous book at least wasn't simply a polemic whitewashed with a facade of science.
But obviously, if social scientists come up with results unfavorable to you they are just biased liberals passing off junk science to further their political, Leftist goals. I'm curious, any conservatives ever do junk science, or is this just a syndrome of the intellectual poison of The Left?
