Non-participation
My original comment was directed primarily at Mary Anne, who, I suspect, actually did read enough of the material to comment more effectively if she wanted to. I guess I should have been more specific.
I don't like the "Well? No response?" comments in threads (something I think I've done myself a few times, come to think of it.) There are any number of reasons somebody doesn't respond, including not having read it, having an actual life, not willing to throw an opinion based on limited knowledge, or just not wanting to get into the usual squirmy can of worms...today. I don't think putting something forward, and having nobody respond, equals an automatic "win" in this kind of debate forum.
