To answer your question, I only read the one book. I wasn't sure if I'd try another book or not, and I haven't so I guess that's my decision. I will often give more patience for a new author to settle his style down a bit in a second or third attempt before giving up on them.
In this case, the book was so relentlessly partisan that I'm not sure I would want to wade through another, even if his writing skills improved.
